Jeep Tour to Smbataberd and Tsakhakts Qar (Safari)

Jeep Tour to Smbataberd and Tsakhakts Qar (Safari) can be combined with visiting Khor-Virap  and Noravank monastery complex 

09:00 – The route starts from Yerevan by 4×4 comfortable car. On the way it’s possible to have a stop in Khor Virap and enjoy the closest and most beautiful view for biblical mt. Ararat.

11:00 – The ride will be continued to Yeghegis village where Smbataberd fortress of 10^th century is situated. This spectacular fortress is built on a precipice and have a picturesque overlook on Yeghegis village. In a walking distance from the fortress is Tsakhats Kar monastery of 10^th century where within its walls the unique khachkars (cross stones) and animal engravings are reminiscent of Armenian architecture of the 10th-13th centuries. 

14:00-15:00 – stop for an incredible lunch in a local restaurant with tasty food on the way to Noravank monastery complex

16:30 – ride to Noravank monastery complex nestled in a peaceful valley and surrounded with red rocks. 

18:00 – heading back to Yerevan
